How to Find a Free Immigration Lawyer (Pro Bono)Ā
The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) provides a public list of attorneys and nonprofit organizations who offer free legal help (pro bono) to people in immigration court. These professionals have committed to donating at least 50 hours a year to help individuals who cannot afford a lawyer.
The list is updated every few months and includes contact information organized by immigration court location. It also includes referral services that can connect you to trusted legal help.
Important:
Pro bono services are provided without charge. However, they may request you cover basic costs like mailing or photocopying. This list is only for free services not paid legal representation.
